Día del Artesano

Celebramos a los artesanos y artesanas a nivel nacional por su día, ya que en ellos y en sus manos prodigiosas yace parte de la pluriculturalidad peruana.

El legado ancestral milenario que han heredado es prueba de la grandeza e importancia que en otrora tiempo gozaban de un estatus especial en la sociedades pre colombinas, ahora en estos tiempos se debería de promover la participación, articulación y sinergias de asociaciones de artesanos, e instituciones privadas vinculadas al sector artesanal y turístico, además de las municipalidades distritales y provinciales para que el artesano nacional tenga representatividad y conforme parte así de la cadena o estructura comercial vinculado a la cultura y turismo de su ámbito.

En el destino Lambayeque se le da prioridad a seis líneas artesanales que son:

Mate burilado

Teñido en reserva o Batik

Repujado en aluminio

Tejido en Paja Palma Macora

Tejido en Algodón nativo

Bordados

Desarrollándose de esta forma grandes maestros y maestras artesanales lambayecanos a través de los años acentuándose en distritos con continuidad moche como son Mórrope, Monsefú, Túcume, Íllimo, Ciudad Eten, Chongoyape, Lambayeque.
